Philip G. Montgomery

Philip G. Montgomery is an associate judge on the Twenty-Third Judicial Circuit Court in Illinois. The court presides over DeKalb and Kendall counties. He was appointed to the court on October 9, 2014, and assumed office on November 17, 2014. He was reappointed in 2015.[1][2][3]
Education
Montgomery received his undergraduate degree from Eastern Illinois University in 1984 and his J.D. from Drake University in 1987.[1]
Career
From 2008 until his appointment to the Twenty-Third Judicial Circuit Court, Montgomery served as an assistant state's attorney in the DeKalb County State Attorney's Office in Sycamore, Illinois. He previously worked as an attorney in private practice for ten years and served as an assistant state attorney in DuPage County from 1989 to 1998.[1][2]
