Philip Kazen was the judge of the 227th District Court in Texas.[1] Kazen was first elected to the court in November 1999.[2] He was last re-elected in 2010 to a term that expired in 2014. Kazen retired at the end of that term.[3]

Kazen received his J.D. from St. Mary's University School of Law.[2]

Career

Prior to taking the bench, Kazen was a prosecutor for the Bexar County District Attorney's Office.[2]
