Hello. My name is Philip Lohmann. I am running for Missouri House District 143. For years now the people of Missouri have been ignored year after year. Incumbents are rarely if ever challenged. People fear the lobbyists, they fear the corruption and they fear the incumbents saying mean things. This is America and I say it's time we grow a spine! This is the land of the free, home of the brave. I will not surrender to the evils of Jefferson City. I refuse to be bought off. I am like you the people. I am sick of the high taxes, sick of the lack of freedom, sick of our rights being stepped on by the very same people that say they are going to defend them but never do. It's time we shake up the status quo. It's time for new leadership and it's time the people have a voice. I shall be that voice and I shall fight for the following. I will lower the gas tax, end personal property tax, provide school choice, get tough on crime, lower healthcare costs, defend the second amendment, defend freedom of speech, be pro-life and I will bring back Christian values to our state. It's time to stop living in fear and under the heel of those in power. We must stand together and let our voices be heard. I am Philip Lohmann and I look forward to your support this August 6th. Let's Make America Godly Again!
  • Lower taxes. (Gas and Property.) I will fight to lower the state gas tax and end personal property tax. The state has enough of our money and it's time we started to keep some to feed our families.
  • I will provide Universal School Choice. The parents of Missouri have been demanding School Choice since the 1960s. It's time someone fight for the future of our children. Be you Republican, Democrat or Independant all agree in every state that school choice is the way to go. It works and I am tired of good hard-working parents being labeled as domestic terrorists just because they love their kids and demand more from their tax dollars. Its time parents be given the right to choose what is best for their kids not the government.
  • I will fight to lower healthcare costs. With healthcare costs skyrocketing out of control something must be done. With family having medical background I know many of the ins and outs of the healthcare system. It's time it was reformed and that we cut the red tape so healthcare costs can be lowered. It's time to bring back our factories that make all of medicine and medical equipment return to Missouri. C-19 proved how much we need this healthcare and jobs to return. A vote for me is a vote for jobs and lower costs healthcare for you and your children.
Cutting red tape, bringing jobs to our state and focusing on balancing the state budget. We need to get tough on crime and revive the Missouri State Guard to handle all the drug dealers and human traffickers in our state. No more mercy. I will be pushing the death penalty for terrorism, rape of a minor, human trafficking and trafficking of hard-core unlicensed drugs. The criminals of our state have done whatever they have wanted for over a 100 years and we the people demand that they be stopped.
God All Mighty is who I look up to. The center of all that is good and holy should be someone we all look up to and follow his example.
Courage, Honesty, Integrity, Duty, Respect and Compassion are the markers of good leadership and that is what I offer.
I cannot be bought off; I am not swayed by corruption, and I have a willingness and a drive to do what is right no matter what.
To represent the people in their district, not protecting lobbyists in exchange for political favors. This evil must be cracked down on. Government should serve the people not themselves.
To leave the world better than I found it.
Long John Silvers/A&W I had it for about a year while finishing up school.
The Bible. It has been the source of teaching me right from wrong and I recommend it to anyone.
Living with all the loved ones I have lost over the years. It takes it toll on the soul as we all know after losing those close to us.
They are to balance each other out and ensure neither side becomes the sole point of view. A Governor is meant to be the middle ground between all voices even those he/she might disagree with.
No. Never make friends with the government. Work together to tackle issues but do not trust any of them. Even our Founding Fathers warned that we are all sinners and government should have healthy skepticism and I encourage you to do the same.
No. I stand to pave a new way forward not keep making the same mistakes of the past.
Maybe a state Senator in the distant future but nothing higher. I am not here to live in Jefferson City. I am here to serve the people.
The parents that are unjustified un being labeled domestic terrorists. When a pedophile was molesting their eight-year-old daughters with autism Teachers Union Members labeled parents that complained as domestic right wing extremists and this among many reasons is why I stand for the things I do. The government is meant to protect the people not the criminals. We must reform and go back to our roots of serving the people not waging wars on parents protecting their babies.
I don't like doing these. It's rare that the government will return the power back to the people once the crisis is over.
School Choice Vouchers. The education system has failed. It needs reformed if our nation is to survive.
Everyday people that are tired of being ignored by their government.
Budget Commitee, Missouri Department of Economic Development, Department of Public Safety.
It must be make more transparent. I am sick of dirty deals behind closed doors. Let the people know what you stand for and why you stand for what you do.

I will keep things simple. My name is Philip Lohmann. I am 26 years old, and I am running for Missouri house rep district 143 because our state needs new leadership. For too long we the people of Missouri have been in dire need of good political leadership that will defend our constitutional rights. As an American Christian I stand on the same principles our founding fathers stood for. Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness. We are one nation under God. Let’s keep it that way.
My aim is to bring reform in the public school system, fight to end abortions in our beloved state and to lower gas and personal property tax for everyone in MO. The board of education has become corrupt. Parents get no say in who they elect on the state level. I aim to give you that choice. Abortion is the murder of children, and it must come to its end. I will also help to make giving birth tax deductible, so no family goes bankrupt by having a child. I will also help to lower or eliminate state property and gas tax. You work hard for your money, and you need to keep as much as you can for your families. I plan to also increase our state’s security. I shall purpose to expand Missouri’s state guard to include a Cyber Security Force and Medical branch. If we have learned anything in this crazy world is that we have many cyber threats and we need to modernize Missouri’s health standards. I also plan to purpose banding deadly chemicals that are being used in our state’s food and water supply, mainly glyphosate. This chemical is found in nearly all areas of Missouri’s food and water supply, and it is leading to mass sickness in our state. As you review me and my opponents, I ask that you do only one thing. Ask God who he wants as District 143’s legislator and go with that person and I can bet you won’t hear that from anyone of my rivals. Let's make Missouri Great Again!
Jesus. I am a Christian and an American. I can think of no one greater that symbolizes who I inspire to be like. I am only human, and I am not perfect. However, God is someone we should all to be like despite our imperfections.
The same characteristics that God would be proud seeing his children live by. Those are the principles a political figure should have.
I think outside the box. With a common man’s perspective. I can find compromise between political parties. That alone is a rare gift we sadly need in office right now. I know that might not sound like much but I must ask aren’t you sick of the two main parties focusing more on extremes rather than working together to get stuff done?
To create or strike down laws and regulations that the will of the people want passed.
I like to leave the world a better place than when I found it. I want to give the next generation a better future than the one we are currently giving them.
9/11. A day we shall all remember. Even at my young age I remember the site of the towers falling as people fell from the burning fires. But what I remember most from this time is something that many have forgotten and need reminded of. Regardless of your political beliefs, we are all American’s, and we all need to stand together to face the evils that threaten our beloved county and its people.
This was my first job. I worked minimum wage at this combo fast food restaurant, and I made sure to earn every cent of my minimum wage job at 7.25 an hour. I held this job from 2011-2012 while I finished school.
The Bible. It’s the book that teaches us who God is and why we need him in our lives always.
We don't talk about Bruno. (From Disney's "Encanto")
Dealing with the loss of my mother over the past few months. We have all lost someone because of C-19 in one way or another.
A governor is to lead by helping bridge the divide between the various people living in the state. The legislator is to purpose is to echo the voice of the people through laws and regulations that benefit the people. Together these pillars up maintain stability in the state and help to make the state strong.
Economic stability and deescalating tensions between the two major political parties.
Benefit is that legislation can pass more easily but the drawback is lack of fresh ideas that sharpen the perspectives and understanding of multiple points of view.
To a point. One must be careful not to lose site of the people. Best to serve the will of the people than the will of the political.
I am against gerrymandering from either party. All voices of the people need to be equality heard and represented. However, to find a substitute will require compromise between the two main political parties and it will not be easy.
I prefer to focus on my work. We have enough clowns in office telling bad jokes.
Only temporary and if approved by the will of the people. It must ensure that the power returns to the people once the crisis is over or has become manageable. It must also not infringe on personal liberties.
Compromise where you can but never compromise your values.
