Philip Poole
Philip Poole is a former District 6 representative on the Lowndes County Board of Education in Georgia. He was first elected to the board in 2004. Poole lost his re-election bid in the general election on May 24, 2016.[1]
Biography
Poole earned his bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He is a construction inspector with Parsons.[2]

Four of the seven seats on the Lowndes County Board of Education were up for general election on May 24, 2016. There was no primary. District 4 newcomer Ronnie Weeks and District 5 incumbent David Clark ran without opposition. District 6 incumbent Philip Poole lost his re-election bid to challenger Glenn Gregory. Eddie Smith defeated District 7 incumbent Fred Davis.[1]
