Philip Senan Jackson
Philip Senan Jackson was a judge of the Maryland 8th Circuit Court Baltimore City. He assumed office on January 18, 2013. He left office on February 15, 2024.
Biography
Education
Jackson received his undergraduate degree in political science from the University of Maryland, College Park in 1979 and his J.D. from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 1984.[1][2]

Jackson ran for re-election to the 8th Judicial Circuit.
Primary: He was successful in the Democratic primary on June 24, 2014, receiving 13.3 percent of the vote. He competed against Page Croyder and judges Melissa K. Copeland, Jeffrey M. Geller, Alfred Nance, Christopher L. Panos, Melissa Marie Phinn, and Julie Rubin. Jackson cross-filed as a Republican and won in that primary as well, receiving 12.9% of the vote. Primary candidates competed for 7 seats.
General: He was unopposed in the general election on November 4, 2014. Seven seats were up for election.[3][4][5]
