Phillip Mendiola-Long was a member of the Northern Mariana Islands Board of Education, representing District 2. He assumed office in 2019. He left office on October 20, 2020.
As reported by the Marianas Variety, Mendiola-Long resigned on October 20, 2020, and offered the following statement, "Although I will continue helping our CNMI education system in other roles in the coming years, it has become evident that I cannot juggle the current roles and responsibilities I currently have in order to give my absolute all to…PSS…now."[1]
