Phillips Armstrong
Phillips Armstrong was a 2016 Democratic candidate for District 183 of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives.[1]
Biography
Armstrong serves on the Whitehall Township Board of Commissioners for a term from 2015-2019. He was appointed by a unanimous bi-partisan vote in 2014 and elected to the board in 2015. He was chosen as president of the board in 2016. Armstrong graduated from Riverside High in 1967 and received his M.Ed. in social studies from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania in 1971. He is retired from a career as a teacher.[2]

Elections for the Pennsylvania House of Representatives took place in 2016. The primary election was held on April 26, 2016, and the general election was held on November 8, 2016. The candidate filing deadline was February 16, 2016. Incumbent Julie Harhart (R) did not seek re-election.
