Campaign themes

2016

Kolsun's campaign website highlighted the following issues:

I believe…In Education

  • Currently, West Virginia does not currently rank very high in education. This must change. When in Charleston I will compose legislation to make sure that our students are getting the best education opportunities that we can offer. Our students are our future and we must give them a great education.

I believe…In Second Amendment Rights

  • I think all law-abiding citizens should be able to bare arms to protect themselves, their property and their families.

I believe…In Jobs

  • It is important that when our young people are ready to enter the workforce that there are well paying jobs available for them. We must keep our young people in the state and having good jobs will help ensure that this happens.

I believe… In The Great State of West Virginia

  • I think West Virginia is the greatest state in the union and I want help keep it high on the good lists and low on the bad lists.

I believe…In the 43rd District

  • The 43rd district is one of the most beautiful and tourism rich districts in the state. I want to represent you, the people of this district and be your voice in Charleston.[2]
