A Phoenix Medical Marijuana Question was going to be on the November 2, 2010 ballot in the city of Phoenix, which is in Maricopa County.
This measure would have allowed the legalization of small amounts of marijuana for medical purposes. City officials had been discussing how this measure would be implemented, if it had been approved, and what steps would be needed to ensure safe usage of the drug by those who need it. Where marijuana clinics should go was also discussed. City officials had been looking at other states to try to form a plan for the cities possible implementation of the drug.[1]
