Phyllis B. Gardner
Phyllis B. Gardner is a judge for Division 2 of the Shelby County General Sessions Court in Tennessee. She assumed office in 2002. Her current term ends on September 1, 2030.
Gardner ran for re-election for the Division 2 judge of the Shelby County General Sessions Court in Tennessee. She won in the general election on August 4, 2022.
Biography
Education
Gardner received her B.S. degree from Austin Peay University in 1972, her M.Ed. degree in counseling from the University of Memphis in 1975, and her J.D. degree from the University of Memphis School of Law in 1978.[1]
Career
Gardner worked as an assistant district attorney in Shelby County prior to joining the court. She served as the chief prosecutor of the Fraud and Economic Crime Unit from October 2011 until her judicial appointment in February 2002.[1][2]
