Brady earned her B.A. in political science and Journalism from Youngstown State University and her M.A. in Applied Politics from the University of Akron in 2009. Her professional experience includes working as an aide in the Ohio House of Representatives, as National Voter Registration Act Coordinator in Ohio Secretary of State's office and news anchor.[1]

Elections for the Ohio House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on May 6, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was February 5, 2014. David Leland defeated Pia Brady in the Democratic primary, while Andrew C. Hall was unopposed in the Republican primary. Leland defeated Hall in the general election.[3]
