A Pike Township Road District Tax Levy question was on the November 6, 2012 election ballot in Stark County, which is in Ohio, where it was approved.

This question authorized the Township of Pike to impose a replacement property tax levy of 1 mill ($1 per $1,000 of assessed valuation) for five years in order to fund construction and maintenance of roads and streets.[1]

Text of measure

Language on the ballot:

A replacement of a tax for the benefit of Pike Township Road District for the purpose of general construction, reconstruction, resurfacing, and repair of streets, roads, and bridges at a rate not exceeding one (1) mill for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to ten cents ($0.10) for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for five (5) years, commencing in 2013, first due in calendar year 2014.[1][2]
