The city of Long Beach, California held city council elections on June 3, 2014. A primary election took place on April 8. Lena Gonzalez and Misi Tagaloa advanced past Pilar Pinel and Ricardo Linarez in the District 1 primary. Gonzalez defeated Tagaloa in the general election.[1][2][3][4]
