A Placer County Supervisor Salary Restriction Charter Amendment, Measure B ballot question was on the November 4, 2014 election ballot for voters in Placer County, California. It was approved.
Upon its approval, Measure B was designed to authorize the county to amend the county charter to restrict the salaries, pension and healthcare benefits for county supervisors to be an average of the same salaries and benefits featured by the surrounding counties.[1]

In order to provide an effective representative government, restrict future pay increases, pension and healthcare costs, shall Placer County amend Article II, Section 207 of the County Charter to limit the Board of Supervisors salary to no more than the average salary of County Supervisors in the neighboring Counties of El Dorado, Nevada, and Sacramento, with any change in this methodology subject to a vote of the citizens of Placer County?[2] |
