Dr. Jay Harris is the superintendent of the Platte County R-III School District. Harris was appointed superintendent on July 1, 2022. Harris' previous career experience includes working as an assistant principal, principal, director, and an assistant superintendent in the Raymore-Peculiar School District.[1]

Reik's previous career experience includes working as the assistant superintendent of curriculum, the assistant superintendent of support services, and as a principal in the school district.[2]
