Pola Buckley
Pola Buckley is the 20th and former Maine State Auditor. She assumed office on December 4, 2012, and left office in January 2021.[1]
Biography
Pola began her career with the Kimberly-Clark Corporation as a Cost Analyst. She later became Supervisor of Cost Analysis, and then Mill Financial Manager. From 1988 to 1993 she was Chief Financial Officer of a manufacturing company in Androscoggin County. From 1993 to 2000 she worked as a financial systems consultant to Maine's rural paper industry.
Buckley joined the Maine Department of Audit in March 2000. Immediately prior to being named State Auditor in 2012, she was serving as Principal Auditor. Buckley is a certified public accountant.[2]
