Two Poland School District Levy Measures were on the March 6, 2012 ballot in the Poland school district area which is in Mahoning County.
The first measure sought to add to the current school levy by a rate of $.38 per $100 of assessed property value for a further five years in order to continue to pay for emergency requirements as needed in the school district.
The second measure sought to renew the current improvements levy which is set at a rate of $.10 per $100 of assessed property value for a further five years in order to continue to pay for permanent improvement projects in the school district.[1]
