This measure sought to issue a bond in the amount $5.7 million in order to help pay for improving, repairing and making alterations to the local high school.[2] School superintendent noted that while voter turnout is expected to be low, he is hoping those that do show up will be in support of the improvements. A new boiler system for the High School is the main proposed project if the bond is approved, replacing the two 45 year old systems with one geothermal heating and cooling unit. it is estimated that on average, for each $100,000 of assessed property value, $45.56 would be added to resident's yearly property taxes.[3]

| Shall the Board of Education of Pontiac Township High School District Number 90, Livingston County, Illinois, alter, repair, equip and improve the site of the Pontiac High School Building and issue bonds of said School District to the amount of $5,700,000 for the purpose of paying the costs thereof?[4] |
