A Port Washington Village Property Tax Levy Replacement question was on the November 6, 2012 election ballot in Tuscarawas County, which is in Ohio, where they were approved.
The first question authorized the Village of Port Washington to impose a replacement property tax levy of up to 0.6 mills ($0.6 per $1,000 of assessed valuation) for 4 years in order to fund the maintenance and operations of Union Cemetery in Port Washington Village.
The second question authorized the Village of Port Washington to impose a replacement property tax levy of up to 3.8 mills ($3.8 per $1,000 of assessed valuation) for 4 years in order to provide for the current expenses of the Village.[1]
