Portia Wu
Portia Wu is the Maryland Secretary of Labor, Licensing, and Regulation. Wu assumed office on March 2, 2023. Wu's current term ends on January 20, 2027.
Biography
Portia Wu lives in Chevy Chase, Maryland.[1] Wu earned a B.A. in English language and literature from Yale University, an M.A. in comparative literature from Cornell University, and a J.D. from Yale University.[2] Her career experience includes working as the managing director of U.S. public policy with Microsoft, an assistant secretary for employment and training with the U.S. Department of Labor, and a special assistant and senior policy advisor with the White House Domestic Policy Council.[1][2]
