Prasad Srinivasan
Prasad Srinivasan is a former Republican member of the Connecticut House of Representatives, representing District 31 from 2011 to 2019. He did not seek re-election in 2018.
Biography
Prasad Srinivasan, M.D. (Dr.S) has worked in Hartford for 30 years and resides in the town of Glastonbury. He graduated from Baroda Medical College in India and is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and the American Board of Allergy and Immunology.
On December 16, 2016, Srinivasan declared that he would run for governor of Connecticut in 2018.[1]

Srinivasan withdrew from the race after he did not earn enough support in the Republican Party's state convention to automatically make it to the primary election.[2]

Elections for the Connecticut House of Representatives consisted of a primary election on August 12, 2014, and a general election on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 10, 2014. Incumbent Prasad Srinivasan was unopposed in the Republican primary and was unchallenged in the general election.[21][22]
2012
Srinivasan ran in the 2012 election for Connecticut House of Representatives District 31. Srinivasan ran unopposed in the Republican primary on August 14 and defeated Chip Flanagan (D) in the general election on November 6, 2012.[23][24][25]
2010
Srinivasan was uncontested in the August 10 primary. He defeated incumbent Thomas Kehoe (D) in the November 2 general election.
