Preserve America is a super PAC founded by several pro-Donald Trump Republicans in August 2020.[1]
Republican strategist and top PAC official Chris LaCivita said of the organization's goals, "The radical left-wing mob is trying to destroy our country from within and Joe Biden is too weak to stop them. It's a concern shared by a growing number of Americans and we intend to spread their message far and wide over the coming months."[2]
In the first week of September 2020, Preserve America launched a $30 million ad campaign attacking former Vice President Joe Biden (D) in Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, and Wisconsin.[2]
Mission
As of September 2020, Preserve America's website featured the following mission:[3]

Background
Several veteran Republican strategists formed Preserve America in August 2020. Chris LaCivita, who created the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth ads against 2004 Democratic presidential nominee John Kerry, was named the organization's top official.[1]
Politico reported that Las Vegas casino operator Sheldon Adelson and Home Depot co-founder Bernie Marcus were expected to be top donors to the organization.[1]

Preserve American began airing its first ads on September 1, 2020, in Florida, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Arizona, Iowa, and Georgia. The organization spent roughly $25 million on television airtime and $5 million on digital platforms. The ads focused on the widow of a police offer killed in the line of duty and a retired Los Angeles police lieutenant whose daughter was killed by a gang member.[1]
Finances
As of September 8, 2020, Preserve America had spent $28.4 million against Joe Biden.[5]
