Preston Brown Jr.
Preston Brown Jr. ran for election to the Chicago City Council to represent Ward 21 in Illinois. Brown lost in the general election on February 28, 2023.
Brown ran for the Ward 34 seat on the Chicago City Council in 2019. He was also a 2012 Democratic candidate for District 27 of the Illinois House of Representatives.
Biography
Brown earned his bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He went on to receive his M.B.A. from the University of Chicago. He also earned an M.A. in Educational Administration from Governors State University. His professional experience includes his work in the following positions: telecommunications, security industries, consumer finance, and adjunct professor of real estate brokerage from Prarie State College.
