Greenbelt, Maryland, Advisory Referendum 1, Ranked-Choice Voting for City Council Member Elections Measure (November 2025):

A "yes" vote supported advising the city government to adopt a Ranked-Choice Voting system for City Councilmember elections and change the threshold to win from 40% to one that is proportional to the number of seats up for election.

A "no" vote opposed advising the city government to adopt a Ranked-Choice Voting system for City Councilmember elections and change the threshold to win from 40% to one that is proportional to the number of seats up for election.

Greenbelt, Maryland, Advisory Referendum 2, Term Length for Council Members Measure (November 2025):

A "yes" vote supported advising the city government to:

  • change the term length for councilmembers from two years to four years;
  • and make councilmembers subject to Voter Recall Petitions.

A "no" vote opposed advising the city government to:

  • change the term length for councilmembers from two years to four years;
  • and make councilmembers subject to Voter Recall Petitions.

A "yes" vote supported creating a 21-member commission to review, discuss, and make recommendations on local reparations for African American and Native American residents of Greenbelt.

A "no" vote opposed creating a 21-member commission to review, discuss, and make recommendations on local reparations for African American and Native American residents of Greenbelt.
