Pryor Gibson
Pryor Gibson (b. October 12, 1957) is a former Democratic member of the North Carolina House of Representatives. He represented District 69 from 1991 until his resignation on March 3, 2011. He resigned so that he could become Governor Beverly Perdue's chief lobbyist at the General Assembly of North Carolina.[1]
Gibson received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of North Carolina-Wilmington in 1978. He has worked as a realtor, insurance broker and general contractor. He and his wife, Barbara, have one child.

On November 2, 2010, Gibson won election to the North Carolina House of Representatives. He had no primary opposition but will again be challenged by Johnie Barker (R) in the general election which took place on November 2, 2010.[2][3]
