Function

The Senate Public Utilities Committee addresses legislation that regulates and oversees providers of gas, electric, cable television and telephone services. The committee makes recommendations to the full Senate for the advice and consent of Governor's appointments to the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio (PUCO) and the Attorney General's appointments to the Ohio Consumer's Council.[1][2]
