Quinn Adamowski was an at-large member of the West Side seat on the Joliet Public Schools District 86 Board of School Inspectors in Illinois. He was first elected to the board in the general election on April 7, 2015.[1]

Adamowski unsuccessfully ran for the West Side seat on the board in April 2011.[2]

A lifelong resident of Joliet, Adamowski works as an associate principal at Lincoln School. He has previously worked as a teacher and curriculum coordinator. He is involved in a number of community organizations, including the Cathedral Area Preservation Association, the Joliet Historic Preservation Commission, the Community Services Council of Will County and Joliet Alliance for Youth. Adamowski earned his associate degree from Joliet Junior College and his bachelor's degree from Knox College. He also earned two master's degrees in education, one from the University of St. Francis and another from Olivet Nazarene University.[3]

Four of the seven seats on the Joliet Public Schools District 86 Board of School Inspectors were up for general election on April 7, 2015. The four seats included two East Side seats, one West Side seat and one at-large seat.

The seats of incumbents Deborah K. Ziech, Lorraine E. Guerrero, Tonya M. Roberts and Christine Kim were on the ballot. Roberts and Kim successfully retained their two East Side seats after defeating one challenger, Sammie Valadez. Guerrero did not file to run for re-election, leaving two challengers, Quinn Adamowski and Frank Cabreda, to run for the open West Side seat. Adamowski won the seat. Only Ziech filed to run for the at-large seat, leaving her to run unopposed and win re-election.
