I have seen Jackson's good times along with trying times. I hold a degree in Business Administration from Millsaps College and have over 20 years of experience as a business and accounting professional with McGowan Working Partners Inc. As a third-generation real estate professional with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices – Ann Prewitt Realty, I understand infrastructure and housing needs. Appointed by Governors Musgrove, Barbour, Bryant, and Reeves, I served on the board of Volunteer Mississippi for 20+ years where I was responsible for the management of multi-million dollar budgets each year. In 2023, I was awarded from President Biden the President's Volunteer Service Lifetime Achievement Award acknowledging over four thousand volunteer hours devoted to uplifting our State. I am a past Elder at Fondren Presbyterian Church and current co-moderator of the Property Committee helping to preserve, to enhance, and to grow one of Jackson's treasured landmarks in the heart of our city. • Clearer Creeks, Safer Roads, Smoother Traffic Building a better Jackson starts with addressing essential infrastructure needs like storm water and creek clearing and grubbing to reduce flooding potential, prioritizing potholes and road repairs to ensure safe and smoother travels across the city, and traffic light improvements/synchronization to improve traffic flow and safety. Let’s pave the way for a brighter future for Jackson.

Strong community ties, optimistic ethical leadership, a vision for progress, a heart for service, a head for financial transparency and responsibility make me uniquely qualified to help Restore Trust and Rebuild Jackson into the safe, clean, functional and thriving city we are ALL proud to call home.
I entered a junior summer salesman contest to sell subscriptions (1 year, 2 year, and 3 year) to the weekly newspaper in Northeast Jackson, Madison, and Ridgeland areas called the Northside Sun. I had the experience of going door to door selling subscriptions. I WON IT! I still have the funds in an investment account to this day. Thank you Northside Sun and Wyatt Emmerich as editor/publisher. It was a wonderful people learning experience.
