R. Kent Apsley is a judge of the Shelby County Superior Court in Shelby County, Indiana He was elected on November 4, 2014, for a term that expires on December 31, 2020.[1]

Apsley ran for election to the Shelby County Superior Court.
Primary: He was successful in the Republican primary on May 6, 2014, receiving 72.9 percent of the vote. He competed against Andrew M. Eads.
General: He was unopposed in the general election on November 4, 2014. [1][2] 

Education

Apsley received both his undergraduate and J.D. degrees from Indiana University in 1981 and 1983, respectively.[3]

Career

Apsley served as the prosecutor for Shelby County from 1999 to 2014. He previously served as the chief deputy prosecutor for Shelby County from 1995 to 1996 and worked as an attorney in private practice for fifteen years.[3][4]
