R. Thomas Corbin
R. Thomas Corbin is a former Lee County judge of the 20th Judicial Circuit Court in Florida. He joined the court in January 1994 and retired on March 31, 2016.[1][2]
Education
Corbin received his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina in 1971 and his J.D. degree from the University of Florida College of Law in 1974.[1][3]
Career
Corbin began his career in 1974 as a law clerk at the firm of Allen, Knudsen, Swartz, DeBoest, Rhoads, and Edwards in Fort Myers, Fla. He left that position in 1978 and worked with various lawyers in private practice until 1994 (Terry, Adams, & Corbin; Terry, Adams, Corbin & Terry; Adams & Corbin; Smoot, Adams, Corbin, Johnson & Green; R. Thomas Corbin; Corbin, Dryden & Horowitz; Corbin & Dryden; Corbin, Dryden & Heidkamp; and Corbin & Dryden).[1]

Corbin was unopposed and automatically re-elected following the primary election on August 14, 2012.[4]
