Rachel Crooks (Democratic Party) ran for election to the Ohio House of Representatives to represent District 88. She lost in the general election on November 6, 2018.

Issues

Noteworthy events

In 2016, Crooks accussed President Donald Trump of sexually assaulting her in 2006. On February 20, 2018, Crooks tweeted, "Please, by all means, share the footage from the hallway outside the 24th floor residential elevator bank on the morning of January 11, 2006."

Trump called the allegation "Another False Accusation", tweeting, "A woman I don’t know and, to the best of my knowledge, never met, is on the FRONT PAGE of the Fake News Washington Post saying I kissed her (for two minutes yet) in the lobby of Trump Tower 12 years ago. Never happened!" Trump was referring to a profile of Brooks published by The Washington Post on February 19, 2018.[1]
