Hill ran for election to the Superior Court of Fresno County.
Primary: She was successful in the primary on June 3, 2014, receiving 29.0 percent of the vote. She competed against Charles F. Magill, Steven D. Smith, Lisa M. Gamoian, and Phillip Jarrett Cline.
General: She was defeated in the general election on November 4, 2014, after receiving 47.9 percent of the vote. She competed against Lisa M. Gamoian.

Education
Hill received her undergraduate degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook in 1986. She then earned her J.D. from the University of Notre Dame Law School in 1990.[3]
