Rachel Kaprielian
Rachel F. Kaprielian is a former Massachusetts Secretary of Labor and Workforce Development. She served in this position from 2014 until January 2015. Previously, Kaprielian was the registrar of the Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles. She has also served in the State Legislature as the representative from Watertown and Ward 9 of Cambridge.[1]

Kaprielian was appointed Massachusetts Secretary of Labor and Workforce Development by Gov. Deval Patrick (D) in 2014. "I am thrilled that Rachel has agreed to take on this new role, and I am confident that she is prepared to continue the difficult work of getting our residents back to work, and preparing both our workers and employers for the jobs of the 21st century economy," Governor Deval Patrick said in a statement.[2]
Kaprielian served until January 8, 2015, when Governor Charlie Baker (R) was sworn in, bringing with him a new administration.[3]
