Rachel Lopez
Rachel Lopez was a candidate for Place 4 on the Mesquite school board in Texas. She was defeated by fellow challenger Greg Everett in the general election on May 10, 2014.
Biography
Lopez and her husband, Sal, were founding members of Divine Mercy Catholic Church. She is a senior vocational field care manager for Broadspire, a Dallas company that provides vocational services to clients who are receiving workers compensation or who are on long-term disability. She has a son who has attended Poteet High School.
Lopez also ran an unsuccessful campaign for Mesquite City Council in 2008, ultimately losing to challenger Greg Noschese in a three-way race.[1]
