My name is Rachael Philbrook. I'm a 25-year Belfast resident, mother of three, and grandmother. With 14 years of pediatric office experience and my volunteer work with Hospice of Waldo County, I'm driven to advocate for families and children in our public school system. I'm confident my experience has given me a deep understanding of the challenges we face and I would be honored to serve in this community that I know and love.
  • I feel it’s important for parents to be involved in their child’s education and for their voice not only to be heard but to bear weight in decision making.
  • As a parent myself with a child in the school system, I share many of the same concerns as voters, and I believe this shared perspective makes me a strong candidate to be an advocate for parents and students alike.
  • 3. If elected, I promise to faithfully serve the people who, by their vote, have elected me to represent them on the school board.
Curriculum, Budget and Student Success, but not limited to.
Transparency, honesty, accountability and maintaining public trust.
