A Racine Village Current Expenses Tax Levy Replacement question was on the November 6, 2012 election ballot in Meigs County, which is in Ohio, where it was approved.

This question authorized the village of Racine to impose a replacement property tax levy of 1.7 mills ($1.7 per $1,000 of assessed valuation) for five years in order to fund the current expenses of the village.[1]

Text of measure

Language on the ballot:

A replacement of a tax for the benefit of Racine Village for the purpose of Current Expenses at a rate not exceeding 1.7 

mills for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to seventeen cents ($0.17) for each one hundred dollars of  valuation, for five (5) years, commencing in 2012, first due in calendar year 2013. [1][2]
