Raja Chaudhry

Biography
Raja Chaudhry was born in Lahore, Pakistan. He earned an associate degree from Richland College in 1990. His career experience includes working as an entrepreneur and in the transportation industry. Chaudhry has been affiliated with the Democratic Party and the Pakistan Society of North Texas.[1]

- Raja is committed to protecting the right to vote for all Americans and will stand against any form of voter suppression or intimidation. He believes that every American should have the right to make their voice heard at the ballot box without interference. Raja will fight for laws that protect our voting rights and ensure that every American has an equal opportunity to cast their ballot. He will also work to ensure that there are adequate resources in place for communities to access polling places, such as early voting locations and translation services.
- Raja is committed to protecting the environment and reducing our carbon footprint by taking active steps such as reducing energy consumption and waste, encouraging reuse and recycling, investing in renewable energy, and advocating for sustainable practices. Raja will work to protect natural resources and promote conservation by participating in local clean-up efforts, supporting environmental organizations, and educating others about the importance of environmental stewardship.
- Texas is ground zero for the Republican attack on reproductive rights. Raja is dedicated to increasing access to reproductive health care, repealing the Hyde Amendment, and codifying Roe v. Wade through the Women’s Health Act. We are fighting for access to abortion care, contraceptive services, and comprehensive sex education in Texas. Raja plans to fight against some of the most extreme anti-abortion laws in the country, including bans on insurance coverage for abortion, restrictions on medication abortion, forced ultrasounds, and unnecessary regulations that target clinics providing abortion care.
