|Working within our dysfunctional healthcare system was (and still is) very frustrating. Pushing for improvements and fighting for co-workers and worker’s rights has become the necessary norm. I even returned to school and earned two master’s degrees when I thought it could help put me in a position to really make a difference. Unfortunately, I have been mostly suppressed from any real advancement ever since trying to start a union several years ago.
Despite that, I refuse to remain silent, just as we cannot allow our values to be silenced today. There’s only so much complaining you can do. At some point you must act. And that’s why I’m in this race…
I’m running for state representative in our 67th district because we need REAL. POSITIVE. CHANGE.- Unity over Division.
- Compassion over Cruelty.
- Justice over Inequality.
Minimum Wage. We need to raise the Pennsylvania minimum wage to at least $15 per hour. It’s about dignity, fairness, and economic justice. Raising the minimum wage would lift many workers out of poverty. It directly benefits a higher proportion of rural workers and strengthens the fabric of our small towns.
Protecting women's rights and reproductive freedom.
