I grew up in Bradford, Pennsylvania, but now reside in nearby Port Allegany with my wife and kids. For the past 16 years, I have been working as an imaging technologist at UPMC Cole in Coudersport, PA while also serving as the organization’s picture archiving and communication system (PACS) administrator.

Working within our dysfunctional healthcare system was (and still is) very frustrating. Pushing for improvements and fighting for co-workers and worker’s rights has become the necessary norm. I even returned to school and earned two master’s degrees when I thought it could help put me in a position to really make a difference. Unfortunately, I have been mostly suppressed from any real advancement ever since trying to start a union several years ago.

Despite that, I refuse to remain silent, just as we cannot allow our values to be silenced today. There’s only so much complaining you can do. At some point you must act. And that’s why I’m in this race…

I’m running for state representative in our 67th district because we need REAL. POSITIVE. CHANGE.
Public Education. Our children are the heart and soul of our communities and our future. We need to fund our schools!

Minimum Wage. We need to raise the Pennsylvania minimum wage to at least $15 per hour. It’s about dignity, fairness, and economic justice. Raising the minimum wage would lift many workers out of poverty. It directly benefits a higher proportion of rural workers and strengthens the fabric of our small towns.

Protecting women's rights and reproductive freedom.

Investing in social services (including healthcare, childcare) which is vital to helping our rural areas get a fair shot at economic opportunity... and ultimately overcoming the aging and declining population.
Woodland Entertainment. A movie theater / live production theatre with big dreams. Sadly, after several months, the company ran out of money. I worked the last month or so without a paycheck... until the company filed bankruptcy. My first job... and still ranks as my favorite!
No. As evident by some legislators, experience does not always translate into positive results. Anyone with a willingness to learn, put in the work, and advocate for the benefit of their communities can be successful. We need to rise above the partisan politics. Sometimes it takes a real political "outsider" to do just that... an average joe (or jane) -- not career self-serving politicians.
