The people of Missouri need a Governor that puts them first.
My maternal Grandfather, he was a great guy, honest, trustworthy, and a good Christian. I've never heard anyone speak ill of him - he led a great life.
Appointing the right people,

Budget Oversight,
Being an advocate for all Missourians,
Signing or vetoing bills,
Being Commander in Chief of State Forces,

And being an Advocate for the people.
Missouri as a Better place for Missourians.
I'll never forget the Challenger explosion, I was in school and everyone was in shock.
I was working in the family business with railroad rail very early as young as 12. During High School I worked as kitchen help in a nursing home for a short time. After College I worked in banking and then returned to the family business.
The Governor needs to appoint the right people to the right jobs. - these people need to stay accountable through their terms.
I believe the Governor should be in Jefferson City to do one simple task- Represent the best interest and will of the people. -That can only be achieved by following and defending the Missouri and U.S. Constitutions.
MIssouri only allows vetoes on appropriation bills - basically a budget issue. I would like to see this expanded to trim pork from other legislation.
The people of Missouri that make this state great.
Competition with neighboring States. We also need to battle increasing violent crime in Kansas City, St. Louis, and Springfield and elsewhere- Drug use is a Root cause. Missouri is middle of the road in education- I would like us to be a leader.
