Ralph R. Hernandez was an at-large member of the Buffalo Board of Education in New York.

Hernandez (Republican Party, Conservative Party) ran for election to the New York State Assembly to represent District 149. He lost in the general election on November 8, 2022.

Hernandez was a candidate for an at-large seat on the Buffalo school board in New York. He lost the general election on May 6, 2014 to incumbent Barbara Seals Nevergold and challengers Larry Quinn and Patricia B. Pierce.

Ralph R. Hernandez earned his bachelor's degree in social sciences from Medaille College in 1990 and his certification in health services administration from D'Youville College in 2000. From October 2011 to December 2013, he worked for the Greater Buffalo United Accountable Healthcare Network as the director of provider relations.[1]

Ralph R. Hernandez lost to incumbent Barbara Seals Nevergold and newcomers Larry Quinn and Patricia B. Pierce for the three at-large seats in the general election on May 6, 2014. Candidates Bryon J. McIntyre and Daniel Rockwitz Reynolds were removed from the ballot after they did not meet the petition signature requirements.[2]
