Robbie Hoffman
Robbie Hoffman (Democratic Party) is running for election for President of the United States. Hoffman declared candidacy for the 2028 election.
Hoffman was a 2016 independent candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 8th Congressional District of Wisconsin. Hoffman dropped out of the race prior to the primary elections.[1] Hoffman announced his intentions to run for governor in 2018.[2]
Hoffman was also a Democratic candidate for President of the United States in 2016.[3]

Heading into the election, Ballotpedia rated this race as a race to watch. The seat was left open following incumbent Reid Ribble's (R) decision to retire. Mike Gallagher (R) defeated Tom Nelson (D) in the general election on November 8, 2016. Gallagher defeated Frank Lasee and Terry McNulty in the Republican primary on August 9, 2016.[4][5]
