Mascorro ran for re-election to the Refugio County Court.
Primary: He ran unopposed in the Republican primary on March 4, 2014.
General: He was defeated in the general election on November 4, 2014, after receiving 38.2 percent of the vote. He competed against Bobby Blaschke. [2][3] 

2010

Mascorro won the Democratic primary for the Refugio County Court, receiving 74.2% of the vote. He was re-elected after running unopposed in the general election.[4]
