Randall Skanchy is a Utah Third Judicial District judge for Salt Lake County for the Salt Lake City District Court.[1] Skanchy was appointed to this position in January 2001 by Gov. Michael O. Leavitt.[2]

Skanchy won a retention election on November 8, 2016.[3]

Biography

Skanchy received his J.D. from Brigham Young University in 1980. Skanchy served as an arbitrator for the National Association of Securities Dealers, where he handled environmental state and federal Superfund matters in the western United States. He also worked with the firm of Jones, Waldo, Holbrook & McDonough.[2]
