Randall Skanchy

Randall Skanchy is a Utah Third Judicial District judge for Salt Lake County for the Salt Lake City District Court.[1] Skanchy was appointed to this position in January 2001 by Gov. Michael O. Leavitt.[2]

Biography
Skanchy received his J.D. from Brigham Young University in 1980. Skanchy served as an arbitrator for the National Association of Securities Dealers, where he handled environmental state and federal Superfund matters in the western United States. He also worked with the firm of Jones, Waldo, Holbrook & McDonough.[2]

Utah held retention elections for local judicial offices on November 8, 2016. The filing deadline for sitting judges seeking retention was April 15, 2016. Randall Skanchy was retained in the Utah 3rd District Court (Skanchy Seat) election with 73.14 percent of the vote. [3]
