Randy Birch appointed to Heber City Justice Court

Heber, Utah: Randy B. Birch was appointed by Mayor David Phillips to the Heber City Justice Court in the 4th Judicial District. He will replace Judge Reed Parkin who is leaving on September 1, 2010 to serve on the Orem City Justice Court. The appointment is still subject to certification by the Utah Judicial Council.

Birch is currently a solo attorney. He previously worked with various law firms in Salt Lake City and has spent most of his 26-year career representing construction-related commercial law. For the past 25 years, he has served as a small claims judge in the counties of Salt Lake and Summit. He has also taught substantive law training to Justice Court judge and judges pro tempore since 2007.[1]
