Randy Brodehl (b. October 13, 1954) is a former Republican member of the Montana House of Representatives, representing District 9 from 2011 to 2019.

Brodehl was unable to run for re-election in 2018 to the Montana House of Representatives because of term limits.

Biography

Brodehl earned his B.S. in Fire Service management from Western Oregon University in 1987. His professional experience includes working as a business partner at R&J Enterprises, firefighter and chief of the Kalispell Fire Department; owner of Brodehl Farms; and battalion chief for the city of Corvallis.

Elections for the Montana House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on June 3, 2014, and a general election took place on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was March 10, 2014; minor party and independent candidates had until June 2, 2014, to file. Diane Taylor was unopposed in the Democratic primary, but withdrew after being appointed as the Democratic replacement nominee in Senate District 4. District 7 incumbent Randy Brodehl was unopposed in the Republican primary. Brodehl defeated Democratic replacement candidate JoLynn Yenne in the general election. Incumbent Scott Reichner (R) did not seek re-election.[7]

Brodehl won re-election in the 2012 election for Montana House of Representatives, District 7. Brodehl ran unopposed in the June 5 primary election and defeated Diane Frances Taylor (D) in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[8][9]

On November 2, 2010, Brodehl won election to the Montana House of Representatives. Brodehl defeated Steven Thompson in the June 8 primary by a margin of 702-634. He faced Karen Reeves (D) in the November 2 general election.[10][11]
