Randy Davis (Alabama)
Randy Davis (b. July 14, 1952) is a former Republican member of the Alabama House of Representatives, representing District 96 from 2002 to 2018.
Biography
At the time of his service in the state House, Davis' professional experience included serving as an assistant professor of music at the University of Mobile and as the resident conductor of the Baldwin County Pops Band. His experience also included working as the public relations coordinator for Baldwin County Schools, working as a supervisor and teacher for Mobile County Schools, and working as a salesman with the Princeton Industries Corporation.

Elections
2014
Elections for the Alabama House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on June 3, 2014; a runoff election took place where necessary on July 15, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was February 7, 2014. Incumbent Randy Davis was unopposed in the Republican primary and was unchallenged in the general election.[1][2][3][4]
2013
Davis was running for the U.S. House representing the 1st Congressional District of Alabama. The election is being held to replace Jo Bonner, who announced his resignation on May 23, 2013, in order to take a position as vice chancellor of government and economic development at the University of Alabama.[5]
Davis withdrew from the race on July 31, 2013, announcing that he would instead seek re-election in the state house.[6]
2010
Davis won re-election to the 96th District seat in 2010. He had no opposition.[7]
2006
On November 7, 2006, Davis was re-elected to the 96th District Seat in the Alabama House of Representatives, running unopposed in the general election.[8]
Davis raised $63,739 for his campaign.[9]

At the time of his service in the state House, Davis and his wife, Martha, had one child. Davis was also a member of the Baldwin Pops, Chiasaw United Methodist church, Mobile Opera, and Mobile Symphony. He was on the board of the Boys and Girls Club, Bounds Young Men's Christian Association, Daphne/Spanish Fort Rotary and the United States Sports Academy.[11]
