Randy Jones
Randy Jones was a 2016 nonpartisan candidate for District 7 of the Milwaukee City Council in Wisconsin. He was defeated in the primary election on February 16, 2016.
Biography
Jones is from Milwaukee, Wis., and attended South Division High School. His professional experience includes working as a cross country and track & field coach at Nicolet High School, South Milwaukee High School, the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and Milwaukee Area Technical College. He was the head track & field meet referee for the Wisconsin Badger State Games for four years. He also worked for Wisconsin's Interscholastic Athletic Association and was a USA Track & Field National Level referee for eight years. He was voted vice president of the USA Track & Field Wisconsin Association for three two-year terms and also served as the president for a term. Jones was hired as a physical education director for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee in 2000.[1]
