Elections for the Ohio House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on May 6, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was February 5, 2014. Michael O’Brien defeated Eugene Mach, II and Ken MacPherson in the Democratic primary, while Randy Law was unopposed in the Republican primary. Elaine R. Mastromatteo ran as a Green Party candidate. Eric A. Dunn (I) was removed from the ballot prior to the general election. O’Brien defeated Law and Mastromatteo in the general election.[4]

Law ran in the 2012 election for District 64 of the Ohio House of Representatives. Law defeated Roger M. Peterson and Albert Haberstroh, Jr. in the March 6 Republican primary election and was defeated by incumbent Tom Letson (D) in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[5][6]
