Randy Necessary
Randy Necessary was the District 6 representative on the Irving Independent School District board of trustees in Texas from 2013 to 2019. Necessary was first appointed to the board on December 16, 2013, to replace Norma Gonzales, who resigned in August 2013 after a shoplifting arrest.[1]
Biography
Necessary graduated from Irving High School in 1968. He earned his bachelor’s degree in marketing and finance from East Texas State University. When he served on the school board, he had also served as vice chairman of the Board of Adjustments and Appeals for the City of Irving. He and his wife, Patti, had two daughters who also graduated from Irving ISD.[1][2]
