Randy M. Olsen was a superior court judge for the Fourth Judicial District in Fairbanks, Alaska.[1] Olsen was appointed on April 28, 2003 by Governor Frank Murkowski and retired on October 1, 2012.[2]

Education

Judge Olsen graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Arts in history in 1974. He later graduated from J. Reuben Clark Law School with a J.D. in 1977.[3]

  • 1982-2003: He was an assistant attorney general in Fairbanks
  • 1977-1982: He was an assistant district attorney in Fairbanks
  • 1976: He worked as a legal intern with District Attorney's Office in Fairbanks
  • 1975: He worked for the Alaska Court System in Fairbanks as a summer bailiff[3]
